Our Operating Principles:

What are the reasons for our success? It is simple. We strive to help business leaders achieve their goals.

We develop real relationships with our clients, their teams and candidates.

We live by this credo:

  • Be strategic and a partner;
  • Be creative in approaching every engagement as unique and critical;
  • Be passionate advocates;
  • Be aggressive in reaching out to gain a true picture of a candidate &/or organization;
  • Be prepared to suggest alternative approaches;
  • Be proactive in communicating results, initiating new plans to overcome hurdles;
  • Be vigilant and accurate in performing due-diligence and presenting feedback;
  • Be "constructively impatient" assuring engagements are completed on time;
  • Be client-focus not driven by the clock;
  • Be honest ....

We're proud to play our part as a boutique executive search and strategic consulting firm, able to respond to specific leadership challenges with customized solutions and a commitment to long-term collaboration.

Our History

Our founder and president, R. Linda Resnick, pioneered executive search and organizational consulting in the mid-Atlantic region's growing high-technology sector. As large companies downsized in the late 1980's, Linda realized that the future would belong to innovative, smaller organizations. And she realized that such companies constituted an under served and misunderstood market segment.

With funding from Ben Franklin Technology Partners, a seed-stage venture fund, Linda created an executive hiring program at the University City Science Center, the nation's first urban business incubator. An entrepreneur among entrepreneurs, she broadened her practice to serve high-tech, biotech and other innovative organizations.

In doing so, Linda established CEO Resources, Inc. as a spin-off of her initial effort. She has since built a company, a loyal client base, an empowered team and a national reputation.
